Born and bred in the blues and mixed with a Southern twang, Ross Shifflett picked up a guitar wanting to play like the Delta bluesman from the 30's, Robert Johnson. He fell in love with a $50 pawn shop guitar at age 11. He quickly began trying to replicate a Willie Nelson coolness and at the same time chasing a Stevie Ray swing.

He started writing songs at age 15 in Graham, Texas and immediately fell in love with the freedom of it all. He writes songs to speak to souls like his and loves to get a foot tapping for whoever is listening. Ross was made to play a Telecaster and he makes sure the world around him knows it. He comes from a family of players and carries on the fast guitar hands of his granddad before him. His songs speak from his soul and the unbeaten paths he's wandered.
